The tensile membrane is fabricated from long life, 100% UV stabilised, waterproof, architectural grade PVC coated polyester fabric with PVDF finish to both sides, protected against microbial and fungal attack.
The fabric structure employs tubular steel components finished with Triplex™ brand steel protection system; abrasive blast to Class 3, application of spray galvanising in aluminium and zinc and two coats of powdercoat.
All hardware inclusive of nuts, bolts and washers, wire rope cables, rigging screws, pole sleeve and shackles are stainless steel Gr.304/Gr.316. Arm end plugs are UV resistant nylon. Top hat is spun aluminium with polyester powdercoat. Membrane top plate is weatherproof PVC integral skin-foam.
Structural design is to AS/NZS1170.0, AS/NZ1170.1, AS/NZ1170.2, AS4100, AS3600 and AS1170.4.

The fabric canopies in the Chiltern range are conical in shape and benefit from minimal disruption to flow under the shelter which is ideal for covered al fresco dining, cafe or retail areas. Engineered with one single mast, there are no perimeter disruptions while the scallop edging detail finesses the canopy. This range can easily be extended by adding extra bays for larger areas as per your footprint by selecting the straight edge modular versions.
Note: additional extras include gutter upstands and rainwater collection. All our canopies are engineered to British Standards, suitable for year round use and come with a ten year warranty – although with the correct maintenance, they are expected to last much longer!

The Mendip fabric canopy family is based on a simple, elegant design with sculptural masts, suitable for a wide range of activities. The supporting structure is minimal with the advantage of no trip hazards. The family has options to vary the number of posts from four to six and there are also modular walkways in the range.
Note: we can adapt the standard canopies to suit your footprint and additional extras include gutter upstands and rainwater collection.
