He has been involved, in one capacity or another, with
countless projects worldwide, and misses the action of live projects, but now
admits that his preferred role is to serve the Company we have created,
ensuring we all have the resources we need to fulfill our roles in a healthy,
safe and enjoyable working environment. Not bad for a man who has three
platinum springs holding his brain together.
Andy Traynor

Andy joined Base in 2002, bringing with him over 15 years experience in the industry. Andy has a diverse mix of skills and has worked on many large-scale tensile installations over the years, both in the UK and oversees.

structures are designed to enable an efficient, safe installation. Andy also
oversees all installations at Base, making sure the installation teams are
prepared and have everything they need to ensure a successful build. Well, he is
an ex boy scout.

He was also responsible for managing the manufacturing department’s growth to the point where they were producing over 10,000m2 of tensile fabric a year. Today, Jon’s extensive industry experience and
leadership has helped us build a talented production team, where every member
delivers great work and enjoys doing it. Jon’s vision is to keep growing the
team and continue building iconic structures that make an impact around the
world. Well, he was never going to make an impact through his Tae Kwon Do,
having once fought for the Welsh National squad – and lost. You can’t win them
all Jon.
