Base pushes for ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 accreditation
February 2011
Quality has always been a key market differentiator for Base Structures and as such we believe our existing processes to be robust and driven to produce quality products and provide quality service.
With strategic objectives to grow the organisation, become a leading deliverer of environment infrastructure fabric products and to be a socially responsible tensile manufacturer, the time has come to review all our systems and environmental processes to ensure our systems have the stability to grow and that we have the structure in place to deliver on those objectives.
We have enlisted the services of QM.UK Ltd to undertake the facilitation of both Quality standard ISO 9001 and Environmental standard 14001 and who will help prepare us for accreditation. Internally the initiative will be managed by Rachel Winterton HR & Admin Manager and Russell George Health & Safety Manager respectively.
The current programme for implementation aims at completion by May 2011.
