Designed in Italy by Tensoforma, TEXO® is a pre-stressed fabric panel system, which delivers all the benefits of fabrics in a form that can be easily incorporated into mainstream construction.

For the construction industry, it offers a highly versatile and cost-effective cladding technique which also has proven eco credentials. A research study by Rome University has shown a 47% reduction in energy consumption using a fabric mesh screen in front of a glass and concrete facade.

The Base Structures team, who exhibited alongside De Leeuw Shading (stand no S655), suppliers of a range of solar shading fabrics, also demonstrated interior fabric solutions designed to reduce glare and combat problems such as overheating atriums. Visitors to the stand benefited from:
