Working Platform Netting (WPN) can be used as an alternative form of access where other more traditional means may be unavailable. These netting systems are incredibly cost effective since they reduce man hours working at height, compared with traditional methods such as scaffolding. After installation the nets can also allow non-IRATA trained personnel to access the work areas.

Using IRATA trained Rope Access Technicians to install, these systems can be specifically designed and modified to take into consideration the location and task requirements. The nets used are manufactured and conform to BS EN 1263-1 and can be lined with a finer mesh debris net, preventing loose debris and dropped objects falling to areas below work site.

For this particular project a netting system was required for the installation of a new tensile fabric roof over the iconic Mound Stand at Lords Cricket Ground. This bespoke system allowed our riggers to deliver this monumental task below budget and ahead of schedule.
