The project was commisioned by the Cutty Sark Trust to act as a focal point and maintain interest in the Cutty Sark experience whilst the ship is refurbished.

This is a very unique and striking multicone structure consisting of 17 no. hexagonal cones designed and patterned to fit over a complex and irregular 3 dimensional timber grid.

We undertook the structural engineering, detail design, manufacturing, installation of the timber grid and above ground structural work and the fabric membranes.

We are very proud to have worked on this project which proved extremely challenging and enjoyable. It has been a great success with help and expertise from all involved.
